We want all players to fall in love with the game!

The main goal of our house-league program is to provide a fun environment to learn and play the game of soccer.

We rely on volunteer coaches to deliver the programming and we assist those coaches so they can provide the best program to all of our soccer families.

Volunteer Coaching Program

For the 2024 season if you volunteer as a coach for the Outdoor House League Program, you will receive a the below refund on your registration fees once the season is complete (two coaches maximum per team):

• Coaches for U3/4/5 Divisions - $50
• Coaches for U6/U8/10/12  Divisions - $70
• Coaches for U15 Division  -$100

The cost of the 2024 Program is broken down as below:

• U3/U4 - (2021/2020) - $115
• U5 (2019) - $115.00
• U6  (2018)  - $145.00
• U8 (2017/2016) - $175.00
• U10  (2015/2014) -  $175.00
• U12  (2013/2012) - $175.00
• U15 (2011/2010/2009) - $200.00

Program Details:

All of our house league programs are co-ed.  The program includes one practice night per week, one game night per week (with the exception of U15 who play 2 games per week).

Schedule:

• U3/U4 - 5.15 - 6pm Wednesdays  at  Schaeffler Fields on Douro.
• U5: 6:15-7:00pm  Wednesdays at Schaeffler Fields on Douro.
• U6: 6:10 - 7:10pm  Mondays and Wednesdays at Schaeffler Fields on Douro.
• U8: 6:00 – 7:00pm, 7:15 – 8:15pm Mondays and Wednesdays at Cooper Standard Fields on Douro.
• U10: 6:00 – 7:00pm, 7:15 – 8:15pm Mondays and Wednesdays at Cooper Standard Fields on Douro.
• U12: 6:00 – 7:00pm, 7:15 – 8:15pm Mondays and Wednesdays at Cooper Standard Fields on Douro.
• U15:  6:00 - 7:00pm, 7:15-8:15pm Tuesdays and Thursdays at Cooper Standard Fields on Douro.

Program commences on Wednesday May 22nd.

• July 1 is a holiday and no games or practices that day.
• Aug 5 is a holiday and no games or practices that day.
• Last practice/game day is August 7th.
• U15 teams play Tuesday and Thursday each week beginning May 21st and ending August 8th.

Final day is August 10th 

SYS's House League program aligns with Ontario Soccer’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) program. LTPD is centered around putting the player first and offering age-appropriate opportunities for kids to enjoy the game of soccer. Making the game fun is key in teaching and coaching so that players will continue in the game and may even coach or referee as they get older.
